Princess Leia and R2-D2 Concept Sketch

This is an alternate concept sketch I submitted to Lucasfilm as a proposal for a memorial art print of Carrie Fisher and Kenny Baker, both of whom passed away last year. The print would have depicted Princess Leia and R2-D2 in the iconic scene from the opening moments of the original STAR WARS during which both characters were introduced to the world for the very first time. The proceeds from the sales would have been donated to a charity (possibly to an organization such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the International Bipolar Foundation, or The Midnight Misson, which are all charities that Ms. Fisher had supported generously while she was alive). Alas, the print never came to be, but the concept sketch still remains.
